In you case you’ve been wondering whatever happened to the Tempest film? Didn’t I hear something about someone making it into a movie a long time ago? You heard right and yes, the project went radio silent for a while leaving everyone (myself included) wondering if it would ever happen.
Well…a little CPR and a passionate production team have made this dream a reality once again! Tempest film rights have a new home with Cross Productions (no, we are not relations).
I’m excited to work with Scott and Sean Cross to take my debut novel to the big screen. I’m also extremely grateful for my editor Brendan Deneen, Executive Producer for the Tempest film and head of Macmillan Film division, for not giving up on this future movie (that is so time travel).

Is this still a thing? This series is criminally underrated, and giving it a movie would hopefully bring in the attention it deserves.
I am so excited for this, I’ve read this series too many times to count in too many years to remember. I can’t stop coming back to these books, and I’m not sure how recent the update was, but I truly am looking forward to this project, and I’m crossing my fingers that it ends up happening!!!!!
