//BULLY: teamTEENauthor monthly topic

On the second Wednesday of every month a few of my awesome friends in teamTEENauthor will be participating in a group post. Basically, I’ve given them a single word or short phrase and they are allowed to do whatever they’d life with that word. We are creative people after all. The word I chose for July is: BULLY

Here are the links to all the BULLY posts from teamTEENauthor members:

Also, if any of you bloggers out there want to post on this topic, we would love to hear your thoughts and ideas so please, please post a link in the comment section!

For my post this month, I decided to consult the Perfect 10 and get their thoughts on the topic, BULLY. I made an audio recording/Podcast to both read their answers out loud and give some of my own opinions as well.

So, what is your definition of a bully and do you have a story to tell us? If so, we’d love to hear it!

    Oh, Julie. Such an …God, I can't even find the right word for that poem. So glad you shared.

    Thanks, Monica…it was a really difficult poem to read partly because I don't write poetry and it's probably very beginner-like and mostly because it's so personal. Reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher in 2009 was really what brought that memory to resurface and inspired writing the poem. I think that's one of the big reasons I felt so connected to that book, though I know lots of people have felt the same way about it, it really spoke to me.

    Poetry is poetry and that, my friend, was touching so don't even think that it's beginner-like or anything. Poetry is meant to be real and that poem of yours is.

    Thirteen Reasons Why has definitely left it's mark on me. I just wish more people would read it and just realize that one small gesture can save a life. All actions cause a reaction, right?
